About Off-Piste Ski & Pedal

I’ve built Off-Piste Ski & Pedal around a simple idea: private groups, flexible plans, and days shaped around the people in front of me—not a preset itinerary.

Winters are spent chasing powder. Spring, summer, and fall are for gravel roads, singletrack, and big views on the bike. Whether you’re looking for a quick getaway or a longer trip, my goal is to help you make the most of the time you have.

How I Work

I keep things intentionally small and personal. Most trips are private or very small groups, which means we can adjust plans based on conditions, energy, and what sounds good that day.

Rather than offering a long list of “packages,” I focus on:

  • Listening first – your timeline, goals, and comfort level

  • Shaping days around conditions – snowpack, weather, trail status, and season

  • Connecting you with the right experience—whether that’s a mellow gravel loop, a big singletrack descent, a Wasatch backcountry tour, or a heli-ski destination.

Experience

For over 25 years, I’ve been skiing and biking throughout the Western U.S. Over the past decade, I’ve spent my winters guiding from helicopters in Alaska, Utah, and South America—starting each season with avalanche education, then shifting into heli-ski operations. Before that, I spent nearly 15 years skiing and guiding in the Teton backcountry, riding the tram, and exploring the range on skis and on the bike.

I originally began my guiding path in New England, working on my turn and spinning on the bike. From the Kingdom Trails in Vermont to the Tetons and then the Wasatch Mountains of Utah, getting out for a quick spin or chasing powder has always been a constant thread in my life.

My Approach

Every outing—whether skiing deep snow or exploring on the bike—is about shaping a day that feels fun, personal, and meaningful. We live in unreal places, and no matter the season, there’s always something new just around the corner.

Whether you’re here for one day or a full week, my job is to handle the details, read the conditions, and help you make the most of wherever we end up.
